    Baby Moon is a subconscious self of Chelle. Baby Moon explores the inner child. How do you live with the child within you? How to care and nurture yourself and allow the creative, playful you to evolve?

    “…The baby moon was born out of an art work I did in 2016 of a big red moon and I had thoughts of the red moon jumping out of the artwork and bouncing around the gallery, getting in the way and making a nuisance of itself … I painted my first artwork of Baby Moon, in my arms one thunder stormy night …”Chelle Destefano 2018

    ‘Hooked’ captures transience and immediacy that I associate with water.
    Opaque watercolour on cotton is a South east Asian method used throughout the centuries. I became fascinated when exploring more environmentally sound art media that has high archival qualities. The famous Northern Indian artworks, opaque watercolour on cotton grace our museums today where I did my extensive research on the style and media.

    Amanda Gray a representational artist who cares deeply on the environment around her “the beauty, fragility and vulnerability…” (Gray 2018).  This is demonstrated in the detailed work of “McKenzie Falls” 2017 Oil on canvas 60x90cm. McKenzie Falls are located at the Northern Grampians Rd, Zumsteins VIC 3401. Gray works mainly in the mediums of oil, pastel and water colour.
