My horizon

We moved to Portarlington in the December 2019 after a completing a successful community-based project in Coburg North, The Sea is Sinking. It had consumed my life while my partner’s work was moving more out of town. In that in between time for artists (December – February) was a good time to make that transitional move.

It proved to be momentous, by March 2020 the world, countries, states, towns, and homes were closing their doors as COVID epidemic started surging around the world. We are still there shutters flapping. Do we open? Do we close?

We moved twice and now found our spot, March 2021. Our new horizon. Today as I was basking in the fading light of a winter’s day realizing the need to capture our new horizon.

Now its 2024, COVID is still here the world has opened. It is fearful, apprehensive. Wars are ballooning. We still have to decide each day do we open or close the shutters.
